Gwynne Berry
Gwynne is the founder and Managing Director of The Concept4 Brand.
Formerly the Academy Technical Coach with West Ham United F.C, he is responsible for
establishing programs in Asia, Oceania, Africa, North America and Europe.
The internationally acclaimed teaching programme is now being delivered in 17 countries
across four continents since its inception in 2009. With over 25 years of experience and over
30,000 coaching sessions,Gwynne has become a widely respected technical coach, working
globally with governing bodies,football associations and professional teams.
His playing career covered almost 30 years. A youth player at Crystal Palace F.C., he continued a very rewarding and successful professional football career,making over 1000 senior appearances, culminating with an FA Trophy Winners medal with Woking F.C. at Wembley Stadium in 1994.
Gwynne has been coaching for over 25 years, across 6 continents, giving him a wealth of experience and knowledge, which he now incorporates in to the Concept 4 Technical Training Programme.
In recent years he has held positions as the Academy Technical Coach at Premier League Crystal Palace F.C. and West Ham United F.C.
This experience has given Gwynne a unique insight in to technical coaching, both with elite and grassroots players globally.
The lack of any structured technical development syllabus for youth players led to the birth of Concept 4 , which he now delivers to both players and coaches.
Gwynne’s driving influence, is to train and develop more innovative coaches,which will then produce more technically proficient , confident and exciting players for the next generation.
