Coaches Education benefits with Concept 4:

The teaching of technique in young players is perhaps the most over looked part of youth development. The Concept4 Coach Education Clinics will provide attendees with:

• The secrets to effective skills coaching.

• Essential tips on how to improve your coaching and make your sessions more effective.

• A better understanding of technical coaching and the pathway that makes technique game effective.

Concept4 Accreditation Awards:

 

There are 5 modules to our accreditation awards :

 

Introductory Clinic (3 hour clinic)

This clinic will consist of a brief introduction to the Concept 4 Technical Training Programme and highlight the importance of technical ability in the modern game.This will be followed by practical technical sessions incorporating skills, drills and games from all four corners of the highly acclaimed Concept 4 curriculum.

 

Bronze Accreditation (10 hour clinic)

The bronze accreditation award highlights the teaching of core skills from the Concept 4 Technical Training Programme using The Cognitive Apprenticeship. Participants will be shown the teaching pathway that includes Ball Manipulation, Receiving and Releasing,Turning and Shielding,1 on 1 Skills and Finishing.

 

Silver Accreditation (10 hour clinic)

The silver accreditation award focuses on the development of the core skills highlighted in the Bronze accreditation. The emphasis on this clinic is on the development of skill practices that will make technique into a game effective skill.

 

Gold Accreditation (20 hour clinic)

The gold accreditation is a comprehensive award is for coaches working with advanced athletes. This clinic brings all the skills learnt on the last 3 clinics together. It also includes age specific technical session planning and delivery.

 

Platinum Accreditation (20 hour clinic)

The Platinum accreditation award is for coaches who wish to work with elite players in a professional environment. The course covers programme structuring and position specific training.

 

 

 

 

 

Concept4 Club Coach Education Modules

 

For many coaches at grassroots level, the time and cost of pursuing certificated awards is unrealistic.Concept4 recognises that for many the need to put on fun, progressional practices is of primary importance. With this in mind, we have structured a range of 3 hour module training sessions for such coaches that include practical training sessions delivered to the coaches with supporting video and paper resources.
